The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated the list of foods that have been counterfeited or adulterated (fraud) and could pose a risk to health. The new list, announced yesterday, primarily includes the inspection results of meat products. On the website 'güvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr', the new list includes many products ranging from raw milk to meatballs. The products listed under the title "Counterfeit or Adulterated Foods" have officially played with the health of citizens. Many frauds have been revealed, from mixing starch into yogurts to counterfeiting honey. Fraud was also evident in the list titled "Foods That Will Endanger Health." It was observed that prohibited dyes were used in liquid oils.
