Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) President Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was detained in the morning hours, released another message through his lawyer. In his message, İmamoğlu stated, "I am in good spirits, and I hope everyone else is as well." He added, "We will emerge from this process stronger. Nothing is greater than the will and wisdom of the people. The will of the people is greater than any individual."
'In the CHP, regarding the money counting footage and the 'City Consensus' investigations, a detention order was issued for 106 suspects, including İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu, Murat Ongun, Tuncay Yılmaz, Fatih Keleş, Ertan Yıldız, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, and İBB Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, as well as Reform Institute President Mehmet Ali Çalışkan. Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was taken to the Police Department, underwent a health check.

Following this bombshell development, it was revealed that before being detained, İmamoğlu left a note in his notebook stating, "Our nation will give the necessary response to those who spread lies, set traps, and steal the people's will. My trust is in Allah first, and then in our nation."

Shortly after, İmamoğlu, who was in custody, published another message through his lawyer. In his message, İmamoğlu stated, "I am in very good spirits, and I hope everyone else is as well.
