The New Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule prepared by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) has been approved by the Minister of Justice, Yılmaz Tunç. The fee schedule approved by Tunç has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect. The fees have been increased by an average of 61% to 102.35%. HOURLY FEE 3,500 TLAccordingly, the fee for the first hour of verbal consultation for lawyers in their offices will be 3,500 lira, and the fee will increase by 1,500 lira for each subsequent hour. In places visited upon request, the verbal consultation fee will be set at 6,000 lira for up to one hour, while a minimum fee of 3,000 lira will be paid for each subsequent hour. For the preparation of all kinds of petitions, notifications, warnings, and protests, a fee of 4,500 lira will be charged, while the preparation of lease agreements and similar documents will cost 6,000 lira. For the preparation of documents such as statutes, regulations, inheritance agreements, wills, and foundation deeds, a fee of 24,000 lira will be charged. For contracts related to commercial matters such as company articles of association, transfers of companies, and mergers, lawyers will be paid at least 16,000 lira. The minimum attorney fee for cases followed in tax reconciliation commissions is set at 18,000 lira, while for cases followed in international courts without hearings, the fee will be 80,000 lira; for cases with hearings, the fee will be 150,000 lira. CONTRACTED LAWYER FEE MONTHLY 25,000 TLThe monthly fees for contracted lawyers of private individuals, legal entities, and public institutions will also be at least 25,000 lira. For cases followed during the criminal investigation phase, the fee will be 8,000 lira; for cases in civil courts, it will be 18,000 lira; for cases in criminal courts, it will be 13,500 lira; for cases in civil courts, it will be 30,000 lira; for cases in consumer courts, it will be 15,000 lira; for cases in intellectual and industrial rights courts, it will be 40,000 lira; and for cases in heavy criminal courts, it will be 48,000 lira. For first-instance cases seen in the Court of Cassation, the fee will be 46,500 lira, while for hearings of cases seen through appeals in the Court of Cassation, Council of State, and Court of Accounts, the fee will be 28,000 lira. In legal assistance cases involving money conducted in judicial and enforcement offices, the attorney fee will be 16% for the first 400,000 lira, and for cases exceeding 11 million 600 thousand lira, the attorney fee will be 1%.
