The new target of the opposition in Syria is to completely capture Hama, the country's fourth largest city.

Armed groups opposing the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria have regained control of 16 residential areas from regime forces in Hama province, following their advances in Aleppo and Idlib provinces. The regime-opposing groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which have been in conflict with regime forces for six days, have captured some small settlements in the direction of Hama province.

Armed groups that have regained most of the city center of Aleppo and all of Idlib province from regime forces have also taken control of the settlements of Celime, Elzeka, Beridec, Cübbeyin, Tel Meleh, Kırkat, Muğayyir, and Mabtan in regime-controlled Hama in southern Idlib, as well as the villages of Tüveyne, Huveyz, Şeria, and Bab Taka in the Ghab Plain.

THEY TARGETED THE LOCATION OF IRAN-BACKED GROUPS

The regime-opposing groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham have also taken control of the villages of Van Vastani, Madbaa, and Ebru Seyf, as well as the Suran district in northern Hama. The armed groups opposing the regime have targeted a location near the city center of Hama where Iran-backed groups are stationed.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that the new target of the armed opposition groups fighting against regime soldiers in Syria is to completely seize Hama, the country's 4th largest city.

Regime forces have also taken action to prevent the opposition from taking this area. General Abdulkarim Mahmud Ibrahim, the military chief of the regime's army, visited the front where the attacks took place and denied claims of their withdrawal. "This is our land, our honor, and our dignity. However, anyone who is a mercenary or acts outside the law and attempts to open fire will be dealt with on the spot. As the Syrian Arab Army, we have been resisting for 14 years. This is who we are; this is our military, social, and moral upbringing," he said.

AIR SUPPORT FOR THE ASSAD REGIME CONTINUES

Air support for the Assad regime, which is trying to stop the opposition in Hama, is also ongoing. According to the UK-based opposition war monitor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, regime forces are trying to halt the advance of the opposition. For this purpose, they have established a "strong defense line" in the north of the city.

DEVELOPMENTS IN SYRIA

On November 27, clashes began between regime forces and regime-opposing armed groups in the western countryside of Aleppo province in northern Syria. On November 28, regime-opposing armed groups rapidly advanced from the western countryside of Aleppo towards the center, capturing a large part of the center on November 30.

On November 30, armed groups that captured the Han Shaykhun district and established dominance throughout Idlib are continuing their advance in Hama province as well. In the Freedom Dawn Operation launched by the Syrian National Army against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG in the rural areas of Aleppo on December 1, the district center of Tel Rifat was liberated from terrorism.
