The reduction is anticipated to be reflected in pump prices as of midnight connecting August 26 to August 27.
The easing of the crisis between Iran and the US and the decline in international oil markets are positively reflected in fuel prices in Turkey. According to information obtained from industry sources, following this downward movement in international markets, expectations have arisen for a significant reduction in the liter price of diesel.
DISCOUNT COMING TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT
According to fuel industry sources, a reduction of exactly 4 TL is planned for the liter price of diesel. This anticipated major discount is expected to be reflected in pump prices starting at 00:01 on the night connecting August 26 to August 27.
PRICES IN METROPOLITANS TO DROP TO 80-TL RANGE
Looking at the current picture before the discount decision, diesel is selling at 82.73 TL per liter on Istanbul's European side and 82.58 TL on the Anatolian side. In the capital Ankara it is sold at 83.83 TL, and in Izmir at 84.12 TL; with the 4-TL discount reflected on the price boards, it is calculated that diesel prices will fall back to the 80-TL level in major cities.
