The statement from CENTCOM included the following: "Last night, a U.S. soldier died from wounds sustained during the initial attacks by the Iranian regime in the Middle East. The soldier was severely injured at the site of an attack on U.S. forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1."
This is our seventh soldier to lose their life in combat during Operation Epic Fury. Large-scale combat operations are ongoing. The identity of the fallen soldier will not be disclosed until 24 hours after their next of kin have been notified."
IRAN: "WE HAVE CAPTURED U.S. SOLDIERS"
Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, stated on his social media account that he has been informed that several U.S. soldiers have been captured, saying, "I have been informed that several American soldiers have been captured. However, the Americans claim that these soldiers were killed in combat. Despite their futile efforts, they cannot hide the truth for long."
