In the listing published on August 25, the car was offered for sale under the title "Clean official car". In the listing from Izmit district of Kocaeli, a price of 985 thousand TL was set for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz Viano 2.2 CDI Ambiente.
According to the listing information, the black car has 400 thousand kilometers on it. The diesel vehicle has 163 horsepower, a manual transmission, and 5+1 seats.
PLATE DRAWS ATTENTION
The "06 CHP 40" plate in the car's sales listing became one of the most attention-grabbing details. The fact that the Mercedes, known as the official car Hürriyet used for years, was put up for sale with a plate bearing the CHP emblem became a topic of discussion on social media after Hürriyet's political party change.

Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet was arrested on July 23, 2026, as part of the investigation into Izmit Municipality, and was subsequently suspended from duty by the Ministry of Interior as a precautionary measure. An investigation is being conducted against Hürriyet on charges of "forming an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "tampering with tenders of public institutions and organizations," and "accepting bribes."
During her time in prison, Hürriyet announced that she had resigned from CHP and joined the NEW Party. Following this development, the sale of the car with the CHP-insignia plate "06 CHP 40" also drew attention.
