The incident occurred around 11:00 in front of a cosmetics company located on Burhaniye Abdullahağa Street in Burhaniye neighborhood. According to allegations, the founder of the company, Kemal Çağlar Temel, was attacked by an assailant wearing a surgical mask who was waiting for him on the street and was shot multiple times with a gun. After firing 4-5 shots, the assailant fled on foot. Kemal Çağlar Temel, who was shot in the head, fell to the ground covered in blood.
KILLED IN FRONT OF THE WORKPLACE
Upon notification, the police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After a medical examination, it was determined that Kemal Çağlar Temel had lost his life. The police drew a security line at the scene while the Crime Scene Investigation Branch conducted a detailed examination in front of the workplace. After a long examination, Temel's body was taken to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS SUSPECTED THE ATTACKER
Eyewitness Halis Gündoğdu said he suspected the attacker from his actions and stated, "He had been standing here for about an hour and a half, wearing a mask. He disappeared for a while and then came back to observe the workplace. I thought it was a thief or something because the materials were outside. After 2-3 minutes, I heard 4-5 gunshots. He shot at the person who came on a motorcycle and approached the door. The person who was shot turned out to be the owner of the business. Then he fled on foot."

Mehmet Uğur, who claimed to have seen the assailant, said, "We suspected him, I even looked at him sternly. He moved downwards. Then he came back and started shooting at the person who came on the motorcycle. He fired 2 shots after parking. Then, while he was on the ground, he fired 5 more shots. I called 112 to report it. We saw the assailant while waiting here." Another eyewitness also said, "He shot from behind as soon as he turned around."
The police continue their extensive investigation into the incident.
