In the Bigadiç district of Balıkesir, a school bus owner injured a high school student he was arguing with by hitting him on the head with a rescue tool. While the vehicle owner was taken into custody, the governor's office assigned an inspector to investigate the incident.

HE STRUCK THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WITH A HAMMER



The incident occurred on June 3 in the rural Çeribaşı neighborhood of the district. An argument broke out for an unknown reason between A.K., who studies at a high school in Bigadiç under the transportation education program, and vehicle owner H.Y. while they were on the way back in the bus. As the argument escalated, H.Y. took the emergency hammer from the bus and struck A.K. on the head.



VEHICLE OWNER IN CUSTODY



The fight was ended with the intervention of other students on the bus. A.K., who was injured, informed his family about the situation. The student's father, R.K., filed a complaint against the driver H.Y. with the gendarmerie. Upon receiving the report, the teams took action and detained H.Y.



INSPECTOR ASSIGNED



A written statement was made by the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of National Education regarding the incident. The statement indicated that the process of terminating the contract of the relevant bus has been initiated following the incident, and an inspector has been assigned by the Balıkesir Governorship to investigate the matter in detail.
