Workers caught in an earthquake at a textile workshop in Küçükçekmece panicked and evacuated the workplace. Those moments were captured by security cameras.

The panic experienced by the workers caught in the textile workshop during the 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Istanbul was captured on camera.

The 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Istanbul caused great panic in the city. Following the earthquake, more than 70 aftershocks occurred, the largest of which was 5.9 in magnitude.

155 INJURED

It was reported that 155 people were injured in Istanbul and surrounding provinces due to the earthquake; however, it was also stated that there were no serious injuries and that the condition of the injured was good.

AFAD: TURKEY DISASTER INTERVENTION PLAN ACTIVATED

In a post made on AFAD's social media account, it was stated, "Immediately after the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 12:49 today in the Marmara Sea, off the coast of Silivri, Istanbul, the Turkey Disaster Intervention Plan (TAMP) was activated as of 13:15."
