The penalty awaiting Mourinho, who caused a stir during the Trabzonspor match, has been revealed.

In the 11th week of the Super League, the match where Fenerbahçe defeated Trabzonspor 3-2 had Jose Mourinho's statements and actions in the spotlight.

After the match, the Portuguese coach had a verbal dispute with Enis Destan from Trabzonspor and also made gestures towards the stands. In his statements at the press conference and to the broadcasting organization, Mourinho used harsh expressions.

REFERRED TO PFDK

Fenerbahçe's head coach Jose Mourinho was referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) due to his actions before the last match, what he did during the match, and the events that occurred afterward.

The Portuguese coach will be judged for three separate violations due to "unsportsmanlike conduct," "insult," and "unsportsmanlike statements," and he has been referred with precautionary measures.

Here are the penalties awaiting Mourinho according to the directive:

ARTICLE 36 – UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT: Those who engage in actions that are contrary to sportsmanship or sports ethics, undermine the respectability of the TFF with their attitudes and behaviors, or diminish the value of football, and/or engage in actions that may incite violence or disorder in sports, or cause fan actions, may be banned from entering the locker room and the bench for 1 to 3 matches or face a penalty of deprivation of rights for 15 to 30 days, and depending on the severity of the act, a fine ranging from 50,000 TL to 500,000 TL may be imposed.

ARTICLE 41 – ATTACK ON PERSONAL RIGHTS, INSULT, THREAT, and SPITTING:

Those who insult, curse, threaten, or attack personal rights of TFF or its members, match officials, players, managers, or other relevant clubs and individuals, or carry out these actions through media or social media; may face a ban from entering the locker room and the bench for 2 to 5 matches, or if the acts are directed at match officials, for 3 to 7 matches, or a penalty of deprivation of rights for 21 to 50 days, and depending on the severity of the act, a fine ranging from 50,000 TL to 500,000 TL may be imposed.

ARTICLE 38 – UNSPORTSMANLIKE STATEMENTS:

(1) It is prohibited to make statements that are contrary to sportsmanship, sports ethics, or the understanding of fair play through media or social media; making statements that undermine the respectability of the TFF, diminish the value of football, or may offend TFF officials or cause animosity towards these individuals. According to this article, a fine ranging from 50,000 TL to 500,000 TL may be imposed on other individuals. Furthermore, according to paragraph 4 of this article, "making statements or engaging in behaviors through media or social media that would cast doubt on the impartiality of referees and match officials, questioning the integrity or impartiality of referees and match officials, exceeding the limits of criticism regarding referees and match officials, attempting to discredit referees and match officials, or making any comments and statements that may offend them is prohibited." The penalty for this is also stated as "a fine ranging from 50,000 TL to 500,000 TL may be imposed on other individuals."

3 MATCHES AND A FINE

According to Skorer's report; in light of all this information, if the PFDK shares the same view as the TFF Legal Chief Consultant and rules on these penalties, Mourinho is expected to be punished with at least three matches according to the book, along with a monetary fine. Another sensitive issue here is that both of his assistants have also been referred to the PFDK... Goalkeeper Coach Sandre Zufic is facing charges of "non-compliance with precautionary measures"... According to the directive, the consequence for him is "a ban from entering the locker room and the bench for 4 to 12 matches." Coach Salvatore Foti has also been referred to the PFDK for insult, so if he is penalized for this violation, he will not be able to be with the team for at least two matches.
