Protesters gathered in Sadullah al-Jabiri Square in Aleppo, Syria, called on President Ahmed Shara to initiate operations for the removal of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG from the country.
CALL TO SHARA TO 'ERADICATE' PKK
The protesters carried placards written in Arabic stating, "Assad and SDF are similar names in terms of committing crimes and pronunciation," "If our state does not meet our demands, we will intervene in Sheikh Maqsoud with individual actions," "SDF and Assad are two sides of the same coin," "Delayed justice creates new criminals," and "The existence of SDF means the division and instability of Syria."
"WE WILL CONTINUE UNTIL SYRIA IS FREE"
Halil Krez, a resident of Aleppo who participated in the protest, stated that he has been protesting the Assad regime for years and today organized a protest against the remnants of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. Krez conveyed that it is unacceptable for PKK/YPG to occupy parts of Aleppo and the eastern regions of the Euphrates River. Calling on President Ahmed Shara to initiate operations, Krez said, "We will continue to fight against anyone who is not under the umbrella of the state. We will continue our protests until all Syrian territories are liberated."
"WE ONLY EXPECT A SIGNAL ORDER FROM THE GOVERNMENT"
İbrahim Hac Cüneyd, who participated in the protest from the Azez district of Aleppo, said that just as Syria was freed from Bashar Assad's regime, it will also be freed from the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. Cüneyd, who called on the new government to issue a command to initiate operations, stated, "We want our country to be cleansed of all traitors. The presence of the organization in our country is unacceptable. They have taken our children and brothers captive. We are only waiting for a signal order from the new government for the operation."
