It was determined that Ö.S. had been released on leave from Yozgat prison. Additionally, it was learned that the suspect has a total of 26 criminal records, 9 of which are for 'Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault'.

The incident occurred on October 16, during the afternoon on a minibus heading from AŞTİ to Sincan. According to allegations, the girl named P.G. recorded the suspect Ö.S. with a video while being harassed on the minibus and reacted. Panicking, the suspect fled the minibus. Following the spread of the footage on social media, police teams reached out to the victim girl and took her statement. Acting on the information obtained from P.G., teams from the Ankara Police Department's Etimesgut District Police caught and detained the suspect today in the Altındağ district. Judicial proceedings against the suspect named Ö.S. are ongoing.
