A person who killed Baran Fakhani with a knife and stick in a fight following a traffic accident in Istanbul Sultangazi recently, along with 8 suspects linked to the incident, were caught.

In the Sultangazi district of Istanbul, the person who killed someone with a knife and a stick after an argument following an accident, along with 8 suspects connected to him, have been detained.

FIGHT BREAKS OUT AFTER TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

The incident occurred yesterday around 08:00 on Okul Street in the Zübeyde Hanım neighborhood of Sultangazi district. According to allegations, Hakim Fakhani, together with his son Baran Fakhani and Barış Fakhani, was traveling in the vehicle with license plate 34 GG 502 when they collided with another car. The argument that broke out between the parties after the accident turned into a fight.

STABBED TO DEATH

During the fight, the Fakhani family was attacked with knives and sticks, and father Hakim Fakhani, his son Baran Fakhani, and Barış Fakhani were injured. Upon notification, health teams arrived at the scene, treated the injured, and took them to the hospital. Baran Fakhani, who was reportedly set to get married in 2 months, could not be saved despite all interventions and died. The suspect İ.D. fled after the incident.

ATTACKER AND 8 SUSPECTS CAPTURED

After the incident, teams from the Public Order Branch Directorate's Homicide Bureau launched an operation to capture the fleeing suspect. As a result of the teams' efforts, İ.D. and 8 individuals considered to be connected to him were detained. Additionally, an investigation has been initiated by the Gaziosmanpaşa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
