A 25-year-old young man in Karabük ended his life by hanging himself from a sheet suspended over the balcony of his third-floor apartment. It was learned that before committing suicide, he said his final goodbyes to his relatives via mobile phone and left a farewell note. In the Alaplı district of Zonguldak, a 26-year-old person also took their own life by hanging themselves from a tree in their garden using a watering hose.
Upon receiving a report from relatives who could not reach E.Y (25), living in Karabük Beşbinevler Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, police and health teams were dispatched to the area. Examinations by the teams determined that E.Y was found hanging from a sheet lowered from the 3rd floor balcony of the apartment where she lived.
SAID GOODBYE TO RELATIVES BEFORE COMMITTING SUICIDE
During the work at the scene, a note containing farewell messages and a goodbye to relatives was found on the mobile phone in the individual's room. After the public prosecutor's investigation, E.Y's body was taken to the Karabük Education and Research Hospital morgue for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation into the incident continues.
FOUND HANGING IN THE GARDEN OF THE HOUSE
A heartbreaking report also came from Alaplı district of Zonguldak. The incident occurred at around 07:30 in Cambazlı village, Alaplı. After O.A (26) was found hanging in the garden of the house by villagers, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
HAD COME TO HIS VILLAGE FOR THE SACRIFICE HOLIDAY
Health teams, after determining that O.A's vital functions continued, provided first aid at the scene, and he was taken to Alaplı State Hospital. Despite doctors' intervention, O.A passed away. Examination revealed that O.A had attempted to hang himself with garden hoses from a tree, and parts of the hoses had broken off and fallen at the base of the tree.
It was learned that O.A, who had been experiencing psychological issues for a long time, lived alone in the village, worked in construction outside the province, and had come to his village for the Sacrifice Holiday. An investigation into the incident has been initiated by gendarmerie teams.
