In the Antakya district of Hatay, a suspect poured gasoline on a parked car and set it on fire. It was revealed that the person who torched the car was the biological nephew of the vehicle owner. While the suspect was apprehended, it was learned that there was a dispute over inheritance between the uncle and nephew.

In the Avsuyu neighborhood of Antakya district in Hatay, a parked car in front of Rifkan Kızılay's house was engulfed in flames and turned to ashes. Kızılay, who watched the camera footage, saw that his car was set on fire by an individual pouring gasoline.

In the footage, the moments when the person who set the vehicle on fire fled into an olive grove, escaping from the scene amidst the flames, were captured second by second. Following Kızılay's complaint, who was left with a unusable car, the gendarmerie teams initiated an investigation.

IT TURNED OUT TO BE HIS OWN NEPHEW

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the person who poured gasoline and set the car on fire was Kızılay's own nephew. According to initial findings, it was learned that the arson incident occurred due to an inheritance dispute between the nephew and the uncle. The individual captured by the gendarmerie teams was referred to the courthouse, and the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
