Fenerbahçe has re-signed its former striker Vedat Muriqi. The yellow-dark blue club, which reached an agreement with Mallorca, brought the Kosovar star to Istanbul and will have him sign a 3-year contract.
Fenerbahçe completed its first major transfer move ahead of the new season. Talks accelerated after President Aziz Yıldırım took office, and the yellow-navy club brought back its former striker Vedat Muriqi.
DEAL STRUCK WITH MALLORCA
Negotiations between Fenerbahçe and Mallorca concluded with an agreement. The yellow-navy club shook hands with the Spanish team for 15 million euros for the Kosovan striker's transfer fee. The deal also included a 10% sell-on clause.
HEADING TO ISTANBUL
After the agreement between the clubs was finalized, Vedat Muriqi began preparations. The experienced striker and his family are expected to arrive in Istanbul in the coming days to complete the official procedures.
WILL SIGN A 3-YEAR CONTRACT
Muriqi, who will undergo medical checks, will later sign a contract that will keep him at Fenerbahçe for three years.

Vedat Muriqi, who transferred to Lazio after his performance in the Fenerbahçe jersey in the 2019-2020 season, will don the yellow-navy jersey again to fulfill the championship goal missing from his career.
