The meeting of the Party Assembly and High Disciplinary Board of the CHP, announced to be held on June 1, has been postponed after the "absolute nullity" decision, during which Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was temporarily appointed to the party leadership. The CHP headquarters cited that official notifications have not yet reached the board members as the reason for the postponement. Kılıçdaroğlu is expected to meet with citizens at the People's Gathering to be held in front of the CHP headquarters on May 30.

As the political crisis in the CHP continues after the "absolute nullity" decision, the first Party Assembly (PM) meeting to be held by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as party chairman has also been postponed.

PM AND YDK MEETING POSTPONED

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was expected to convene the Party Assembly and the High Disciplinary Board members on Monday, June 1. However, according to information obtained, the meeting has been postponed to a later date.

It was stated that the postponement decision was made because official notifications had not yet been delivered to the board members who returned to duty by court order.

STATEMENT FROM CHP HEADQUARTERS

In a statement made by the CHP Headquarters, the following expressions were included: "Since the Party Assembly members have not yet received the notification regarding their assignments from the relevant public institution, the date for the Party Assembly meeting could not be determined. After the aforementioned notification process is completed, the date of the Party Assembly meeting, to be determined by the Chairman, will be announced separately."

KILIÇDAROĞLU PREPARES FOR PUBLIC GATHERING

Meanwhile, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is expected to meet with citizens at the "Public Gathering" program to be held in front of the CHP Headquarters on May 30. In party circles, it is discussed that Kılıçdaroğlu will deliver important messages here regarding both the court process and internal party debates.

TENSION IN CHP DOES NOT DECREASE

While leadership debates and internal division in the CHP continue after the "absolute nullity" decision, the postponed PM meeting was interpreted as a new source of crisis. It is assessed that the tension between figures close to Özgür Özel and the Kılıçdaroğlu camp could escalate further in the coming days.
