According to reports, around 21:45 on Silahtarağa Street in the Sakarya Neighborhood of the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul, a car traveling in the direction of Alibeyköy collided with the motorcycle driven by police officer Emirhan Aramış, who was moving ahead in the same lane.

MARTYRED IN THE ACCIDENT

As a result of the collision, the police officer on the motorcycle was seriously injured, while the other police officer sustained minor injuries. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured police officers were taken to Bezmi Alem University Hospital after the initial intervention at the scene. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, heavily injured police officer Emirhan Aramış was martyred.

WILL BE BURIED TODAY

It was learned that the relatives of Aramış, upon receiving the news, set out from his hometown of Balıkesir to the hospital. The father, who learned the sad news at the hospital, was consoled by the friends of his martyred son. It was reported that the funeral of the martyred police officer would be buried in his hometown of Balıkesir after the ceremony to be held at the Istanbul Police Department Vatan Campus today at 11:30.
