MUNICIPAL POLICE OFFICERS DISMISSED FROM DUTY
After the footage drew backlash, Afyonkarahisar Municipality made a written statement and announced that it had taken action. Stating that an administrative investigation was immediately launched regarding the incident, the municipality reported that the municipal police officers who used violence had been suspended from duty.
