FENERBAHÇE IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AFTER MANY YEARS
The yellow-navy team eliminated Gornik Zabrze in the 2nd qualifying round, Sturm Graz in the 3rd qualifying round, and then matched up with Lyon in the play-off. The first match in Kadıköy ended in a 1-1 draw. Fenerbahçe, who won 2-1 away in the return leg, advanced to the league stage.
GALATASARAY SECURED DIRECT PARTICIPATION
Galatasaray, who managed to finish the 2025-2026 season as champions in the Trendyol Super League, secured direct participation in the giant organization.

In the new format, 36 teams take part in the league stage. In the draws, each team faces 2 opponents from each pot (1 home, 1 away). Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe will also be matched with two teams each from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pots.

Finally, since the two Turkish teams Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are in the same pot, they will not be able to face each other.
