WAREHOUSE VISITED AFTER FOUL ODOR REPORT
Teams from the Bodrum Municipality Police Department took action following a report that a foul odor was coming from the warehouse of a butcher shop, which was stated to be closed, located on Sadi Irmak Street in the Gümbet neighborhood.
During their inspection of the warehouse, the teams detected approximately 400 kilograms of meat that was determined to be spoiled and emitting a strong odor into the environment.
400 KILOGRAMS OF SPOILED MEAT SEIZED
The inspections revealed that the meat was in a condition that could threaten public health. Consequently, the municipal police teams seized the products for destruction.
The seized approximately 400 kilograms of meat were removed from the warehouse under the teams' supervision for destruction.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS INITIATED AGAINST THE BUSINESS
After the inspection, the municipal police teams filed a report and initiated legal proceedings against the business. Having carried out the necessary checks in and around the warehouse, the teams left the area after their work.
