CIGARETTE IS 10 TIMES MORE HARMFUL THAN THE DIRTEST AIR
Cigarette smoke is 10 times more dangerous than the dirtiest air, and even smoking one a day significantly increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and at least 16 types of cancer, damaging all organs in the body. Experts emphasize that smoking kills slowly and has physical/psychological harms ranging from skin aging to infertility and osteoporosis.
PRIMARY HEALTH HAZARDS OF CIGARETTE
Cancer risk: Causes many types of cancer, including lung, larynx, mouth, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, and bladder cancer.
Cardiovascular health: Increases the risk of heart attack by 3 times, especially accelerates blood clotting in hot weather.
Organ damage: Leads to cataracts and blindness in the eyes, tooth decay/discoloration, osteoporosis, and weakening of the immune system.
Physical effects: Causes early aging of the skin, discoloration, and a decrease in the sense of smell.
Reproduction: Increases the risk of infertility and giving birth to disabled children.
In addition to threatening the health of smokers, cigarettes also pose a danger to passive smokers. Experts recommend being determined to quit smoking and seeking support from the Ministry of Health's smoking cessation clinics if necessary.
