The Private Aktif Hospital in the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova was temporarily closed by the Ministry of Health following complaints made to CİMER regarding the cutting of colon tissues.
The activities of Özel Aktif Hospital, operating in the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova, were suspended following allegations that the curtain concrete was cut.
Following complaints made to CİMER regarding the claim that Özel Aktif Hospital, located in the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova, 'demolished the curtain concrete found in the foundation of the construction to open a corridor between two buildings, and cut the load-bearing columns in the operating room,' the Ministry of Health took action.
MINISTRY SUSPENDED THE HOSPITAL'S ACTIVITIES
The ministry requested a 'Seismic Performance Analysis Report' from the hospital. As a result of the analyses, deficiencies were identified, and the hospital's activities were temporarily suspended by the Ministry of Health. While patients receiving treatment at the hospital were transferred to other hospitals in the vicinity, patient admissions were temporarily halted as of April 28.
STATEMENT FROM THE PROVINCIAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE
In a written statement made by the Yalova Provincial Health Directorate regarding the issue, the following expressions were included:
"As a result of the research and correspondence with relevant institutions regarding the process initiated due to the CİMER application submitted to our Provincial Health Directorate, a technical report emerged. A Seismic Performance Analysis Report was requested for Block A of the private hospital operating in the Çiftlikköy district. The final confirmation of the analysis report received on March 4, 2025, was sent to the Ministry of Health, and in the Ministry of Health's letter dated April 25, 2025, it was stated that 'the activities of the private hospital should be temporarily suspended until the deficiencies are addressed.' The letter from the Ministry of Health was intended to be delivered to the relevant private hospital on April 25, but could not be delivered due to the absence of the responsible manager. On April 27, patients hospitalized in the hospital were identified. The hospital's patient admissions were temporarily halted on April 28."
