At the scarf fashion show held in Istanbul's Galataport, Burcu Esmersoy and Ebru Şallı walked the runway, and at the end of the event, singer Hadise gave a concert. Despite the praise for modesty from the celebrities on the runway and the event's concept, the selection of the lineup and Hadise's performance drew strong reactions from a certain segment.

Galataport, one of Istanbul's iconic landmarks, hosted a colorful fashion event. In the scarf fashion show attended by numerous businesspeople and citizens, approximately 70 models showcased specially designed dresses and scarves. During the event, which was a visual feast, the runway performances of host Burcu Esmersoy and model Ebru Şallı, as well as Hadise's concert at the end of the show, were the most talked-about highlights of the night.

HADISE CONCERT AND CAST SELECTION SPARK DEBATE

The event, which drew attention with its visual concept, became a target of criticism due to the stage performance presented after the show. The choice of model lineup for an organization themed around modest clothing and hijab, followed by Hadise taking the stage for a concert, was deemed incompatible with the event's concept by some circles and met with backlash.

BURCU ESMERSOY: TYING A SCARF IS AN ART

Famous host Burcu Esmersoy, who was on the runway, heaped praise on the headscarf designs in her statements after the show. Stating that she was deeply impressed by the process of tying the scarf, Esmersoy expressed her feelings with these words: "While tying the headscarf, I realized it is an art. They tied it incredibly beautifully. I was amazed; I don't want to ruin it or take it off. The shirt is one of my favorite pieces of clothing, and this pattern and color are just my style. Anyway, I don't plan on giving it back."

EBRU ŞALLI: MODEST WEAR IS TRULY STYLISH AND MODERN

Ebru Şallı, who walked the runway in two different outfits at the event, highlighted the comfort and aesthetics of modest clothing. Emphasizing that she liked the seaside runway atmosphere, Şallı said: "All the embroidery on the outfit I wore was handmade; it was a dreamlike show. The scarf looked very elegant and extremely modern. Not only women who cover up, but anyone can comfortably wear these clothes. We walked in swimsuit shows back in the day, and also in modest fashion shows. We've experienced it all, but modest wear is genuinely very stylish."
