RAP ARTIST SANSAR SALVO IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE
The guardianship of Ekin Can Arslan, known as Sansar Salvo, was given to his mother and father. Following this situation, Arslan shared videos on his social media account that allegedly showed him committing violence against his father. Ekin Can Arslan was arrested for the crime of 'simple intentional injury against a direct relative'. Sansar Salvo appeared before the judge today at the 53rd Criminal Court of First Instance in Anadolu Justice Palace due to acts of violence against his father, Gazi Arslan. The complainant Gazi Arslan, the defendant, the lawyers of both parties, and rap artist Fuat Ergin attended the hearing. The defendant, Ekin Can Arslan, connected to the court via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS).
"I GRABBED MY FATHER, THERE WAS A SMALL SCUFFLE"
In his defense, Arslan stated, "I had entered to record a video and get a confession from my father. He was a lawyer, and I went to his house to get a confession by recording a video. In the videos, there are two sounds that are heard like slaps, but there was no slap; I had spat. Some of my friends and my girlfriend from 10 years ago have passed away. After that, my family tried to take guardianship over me regarding these deaths. I wanted to get a confession from my father. There is a sound of spitting there, but no sound of a slap. I grabbed him, but there was a small scuffle. Then I deleted the video. I was very angry when my father denied it. The video only stayed up for a few hours. There are people who are trying to deal with me and taking money to seize my copyright. Under these circumstances, I committed the act in question," he said.
"I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT MY SON"
The complainant Gazi Arslan stated, "He came home around 8-9 PM that day. I collect the defendant's rent and give it to him later. I told him to calm down and sit down. His angry demeanor continued, and I got up; there was a mutual push. I received 3-4 punches to my chest. Then the neighbors knocked on the door. He was recording a video at that time. Later, the defendant left the house. I am not complaining about my son," he said.
SENTENCED TO 7 MONTHS IN PRISON AND RELEASED
The court, announcing its decision, ruled for the defendant's release, taking into account the time spent in detention and the collection of evidence. The judge sentenced Arslan to 9 months in prison for "simple injury against his father," applying a discretionary reduction and reducing the sentence to 7 months and 15 days, and decided to postpone the announcement of the verdict.
