AK Party Group Chairman Güler announced that the discussions on the Defense Industry Support Fund Proposal have been concluded. The proposal included an annual contribution fee of 750 TL to be collected from credit cards with a limit of 100,000 TL and above, to be allocated to the defense industry.
The discussions on the Defense Industry Bill, which includes the collection of contribution fees from credit cards, have been postponed to 2025. AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler announced that the discussions on the Defense Industry Support Fund Proposal have been concluded. Güler stated, "We have concluded the discussions to address the proposal in more detail." The bill will be evaluated in the committee in 2025.
WHAT'S IN THE BILL?
In the bill submitted by the AK Party to the Parliament, it was proposed to collect an annual contribution fee of 750 lira from credit cards with a limit of 100,000 lira and above,
as well as a deduction of 750 lira each from the buyer and seller in real estate transactions, and a deduction of 375 lira for other transactions made at the title deed office.
The proposal included a fee of 3,000 lira for the registration of new vehicles, 1,500 lira for the buying and selling of second-hand vehicles, and 75 lira for other transactions.
