The requested punishment for those who injured Serhat Akın's foot has been determined.

In the indictment prepared by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that Serhat Akın acted in agreement with multiple individuals before and after the incident upon instructions received from abroad, and that it was determined from camera recordings that a reconnaissance had been conducted at the location where the attack took place.

It was reported that after the attack, the player suffered a comminuted fracture in his foot, and according to the Forensic Medicine Institution report, the impact of the attack was assessed as severe.

ATTEMPTED MURDER WITH PREMEDITATION

The indictment noted that the act was classified as "attempted murder with premeditation" considering that three shots were fired at Akın from a distance of 3-4 meters, all three bullets hit their target, the suspects fled after the incident, and the nature of the weapon used in the attack.

For the act of shooting the complainant Serhat Akın, it was mentioned in the indictment that the fugitive suspect H.Ş, who has an arrest warrant for another "intentional murder" committed this year in Kumburgaz, incited O.D, O.M, and E.Ü by giving them instructions, and that after O.D shot the complainant with a gun he received from E.Ü, O.M arrived at the scene on a motorcycle to help O.D escape.

UP TO 20 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT SOUGHT FOR 7 SUSPECTS

The indictment emphasized that E.Ü participated in the incident by conducting reconnaissance at the scene with suspects O.M. and O.D. before the attack, obtaining the gun and masks used in the incident, I.T helped the fleeing suspects hide, M.A provided the helmet used by O.D during the attack to ensure the secrecy of the act, and Y.G delivered the 250,000 lira, which was considered the payment for this job, to suspects O.D. and O.M.

The indictment foresees a request for up to 20 years of imprisonment for 7 suspects for the crime of "attempted murder with premeditation." The indictment was sent to the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a request to file a lawsuit.
