An auto inspection center located in Kocaeli's Gebze district has added an artificial intelligence-supported robot named 'Koç' to its team to assist technicians in vehicle inspection processes. The robot, which the business owner Erdinç Koç stated is still in its apprenticeship stage, made its first request for a 'raise'.
Technological advancements in the automotive sector have brought a new dimension to vehicle inspection services. Robotic technologies supported by artificial intelligence are now finding their place in auto inspection centers.
NEW STAFF AT THE INSPECTION CENTER: ROBOT KOÇ ON THE JOB FOR VEHICLE CHECKS
A robot purchased by an inspection center in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, named "Koç," works alongside master technicians and actively participates in vehicle checks.
At the center, the robot assists in technical processes such as body, paint, and engine inspections of vehicles, while also taking on social duties like welcoming customers and offering refreshments.
Not limited to technical support, Koç also stands out with its witty demeanor. The robot offers tea and coffee to interacting guests and occasionally adds color to the work environment with dance performances.

Business owner Erdinç Koç (48), noting that artificial intelligence is present in every aspect of life, said, "Robots equipped with artificial intelligence are now everywhere in life, that's a reality. We also see these robots in factories. We wanted to adapt this AI here as well. He is currently in the apprenticeship phase. He is very beneficial to our valued customers and our masters. He is both learning the job and getting to know us."
"I WOULD BE HAPPIER IF THE MASTER GIVES ME A RAISE"
Robot Koç, capable of responding to questions with advanced sensing ability, replies to "Hello, how are you?" with "Thanks, I'm fine. Welcome." Expressing satisfaction with his job, the robot said about the learning process, "My masters take good care of me. The visiting guests also like me a lot, I thank them all. I would be happier if the master gives me a raise on my weekly allowance."
Accepted as a permanent staff member in a short time at the center where it operates, the robot strengthens the business's technological infrastructure while attracting great interest from customers.
