The panel titled "The Role of Family and Media in Combating Addiction," which will address the importance of the family institution and the influence of media in the fight against addiction, will be held on Saturday, May 9, at the Esenler Municipality Youth Center.
AK Party Deputy Chairman Faruk Acar, journalists Hande Fırat, Deniz Gürel, Taha Dağlı, Hasan Öztürk, Mehmet Müftüoğlu, and Yeşilay Corporate Communications Officer Selman Tecim will attend the panel titled "The Role of the Family and Media in Combating Addiction" as speakers.
Turkish Press Federation President Sinan Burhan, commenting on the event where the relationship between media, family, and addiction will be evaluated from different perspectives, stated that addiction problems have increased significantly recently. Burhan emphasized the great responsibility of families regarding drug and media addiction, saying: "Addiction has increased recently. Both drug addiction and media addiction have become significant problems. Families have very important duties in these areas. We will hold a comprehensive program in Esenler on these topics."
At the panel, experts will discuss topics such as young people's use of digital media, the importance of family communication, and raising social awareness in combating addiction. The program, to be held on Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 AM at Esenler Municipality Youth Center, is expected to see high attendance.
