The file regarding the fire disaster in Kartalkaya, which claimed the lives of 78 people, has also spread to the Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, owned by Halit Ergül, where similar negligence was found. Eleven individuals working at Gazelle have been taken into custody.

In the Grand Kartal Hotel located at the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu, 78 people lost their lives and 51 were injured in a fire that broke out on the night of January 21, Tuesday.

Among the 14 people detained in connection with the fire, 9, including the owner Halit Ergül and the company's general manager Emir Aras, were arrested, while 1 person was released under judicial control.

It was learned that 11 people were detained from Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, owned by Halit Ergül, where the same negligence was found, by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The accounting staff of Grand Hotel, Cemal Özer and Mehmet Salun, Gazelle Hotel General Manager Ahmet Demir, Gazelle Hotel technical staff Kadir Çelik, Tahsin Pekcan, Grand Kartal Hotel's technical staff Murat Duman and Gürkan Oskan, Grand Hotel Technical Staff Bayram Utku and Bahadır Bahar, Mudurnu Enerji A.Ş. Chairman İbrahim Polat, and Mudurnu Enerji A.Ş. Vice Chairman İsmail Karagöz were detained.

4 STAFF MEMBERS BROUGHT TO COURT

Four staff members working at Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, whose names could not be learned, were brought to court after their procedures were completed at the gendarmerie. The individuals were taken to the prosecutor's office by the gendarmerie teams from the parking lot at the back of the courthouse.
