The extent of the flood disaster caused by heavy rainfall in Samsun's Havza district became visible with the first light of day. While numerous vehicles were found overturned on streets throughout the district, many workplaces became unusable. The areas hit by the flood were captured from the air.
The Hacı Osman Creek, which overflowed after heavy rainfall in Havza, adversely affected life in the district center. The traces of the flood were clearly visible in the morning hours, especially in Cumhuriyet Square and the neighborhoods of Çay and Bahçelievler.

In drone footage, it was notable that vehicles swept away by floodwaters were buried in mud, while some cars overturned and were reduced to scrap.

Due to the flood, a large number of workplaces suffered extensive material damage. In shops covered with mud and sludge, tradespeople began cleaning efforts early in the morning. While damage assessment work continues at workplaces that have become unusable, citizens continue to experience the shock of the disaster.
Water drainage and cleaning efforts are being carried out uninterrupted by teams from Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, AFAD, and the district municipality dispatched to the region. Authorities reported that damage assessment work continues in areas affected by the flood.
