Insects were seen crawling in a bakery where hygiene standards were ignored. During the inspections, it was determined that 1 business was not operating in compliance with hygiene rules, administrative penalties were applied, and a legal period was given to rectify the deficiencies. It was stated that if the deficiencies are not addressed and the violation recurs within the specified period, the business will be sealed.
"I'LL CLEAN IT UP TODAY"
Dörtyol Mayor Bahadır Amaç stated that inspections will continue uninterruptedly and decisively to protect public health. When police director Ali Avan pointed out the filth in the workplace, the bakery employees's words "I'll clean it up today" drew criticism.
"IN A VERY TERRIBLE STATE"
Reacting to the dirt in the business where hygiene conditions were ignored, police director Avan said, "Can the bread and bagels coming out of this be eaten? No, they cannot. There is no one responsible; the bakery is left to fate. This place is in a very bad state. Where were you until this place became like this? It's in a very terrible state. How can we remove this dirt from where the bread is? Even if you clean it up today, we will take action on this place. Look, people are eating these. Let's record the report and take action. It will only carry out the activity stated in its license. We do not allow other productions. If it remains like this when we check again in a week, we will close this place. We will issue a fine and shut it down."
