Famous journalist and news anchor Reha Muhtar has filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office, claiming that a foreign domestic worker at his mansion by the Bosphorus stole his valuable documents and private papers and then disappeared. It has been reported that Muhtar stated, "This will cause me big trouble," mentioning that his property deeds are also missing.
Television commentator and news presenter Reha Muhtar was seriously injured after falling down the stairs of his mansion a few months ago. Muhtar, who lost consciousness, was later intubated twice in intensive care.
After recovering, the famous figure was discharged. Reha Muhtar, who frequently makes headlines due to health issues, has now drawn attention for a different reason.
STOLE PRIVATE DOCUMENTS AND DISAPPEARED
According to a report in Patronlar Dünyası, a foreign national cleaning staff member, D.S., stole the title deeds, private documents, and valuable items from the famous presenter's home and disappeared.
"I AM VERY CONCERNED"
Upon learning of the situation, Reha Muhtar filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office. In the complaint, it was reported that the famous journalist stated, "He took my title deeds, private documents, and valuable items and ran away. I am worried about facing major troubles and suffering losses."
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
Following the complaint, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation into the incident. Muhtar indicated that his personal information had fallen into the hands of D.S. and that this situation posed a significant threat to him. He expressed concern that the suspect might cause him financial and moral harm.
HE HAD REVEALED HIS WILL
A few months ago, after falling at home and suffering a brain hemorrhage, and spending a long time in intensive care, Reha Muhtar had revealed his will. He disclosed it after the events that occurred at the funeral of Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away on January 2. Reha Muhtar made the following statement: "It is my will to my loved ones; Deniz Uğur should not attend my funeral. I do not want what happened to Ferdi Tayfur to happen at my funeral."
