A bear that descended into the city in Bursa's Uludağ to search for food was caught on a mobile phone camera. The size of the bear stood out in the footage.

A large bear searching for food in the Sarıalan region of Uludağ, one of Turkey's important winter tourism centers, was captured on camera. Descending to the residential area, the bear looked for food in the vicinity for a while. Those moments were recorded by the citizens on their mobile phone cameras.

AUTHORITIES WARNED

While the bear's large size drew attention in the images, citizens experienced panic. After wandering around the area for a while, the bear disappeared from sight. Authorities warned citizens not to approach wild animals and not to try to feed them.
