The mother-in-law, Delal A., who killed her son-in-law Rüzgar Eser by stabbing him in the chest after he shot her daughter in Istanbul, has been sent to the courthouse. In her statement to the police, Delal A. said, 'He suddenly pulled out his gun and started shooting. I ran to the kitchen to get a knife to stop him. When he tried to shoot my daughter again, we struggled. During that, I swung the knife randomly. If I hadn't intervened, he would have killed all of us.'
Rüzgar Eser, who was in the process of divorce, shot his wife and attacked his sister-in-law and mother-in-law in Kağıthane. He was stabbed and killed by his mother-in-law Delal A. during a scuffle. The mother-in-law, who was taken into custody after the incident, described the moment of the event in her statement.
ATTACKED HIS WIFE, SISTER-IN-LAW, AND MOTHER-IN-LAW
The incident occurred around 15:30 yesterday in the Çeliktepe neighborhood. According to allegations, Rüzgar Eser (33), who was reportedly under a restraining order, came to the house where his estranged wife Nurşin E. (28) lived. During a dispute between the parties, Rüzgar Eser wounded his wife with a gun and began to assault his sister-in-law Betül E. (32) and her mother Delal A., who were at the house during the incident.
MOTHER-IN-LAW KILLED SON-IN-LAW
As the fight escalated, Delal A. took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Rüzgar Eser in the chest, killing him. Nurşin E., who was seriously injured, was taken to Seyrantepe Hamidiye Training and Research Hospital after initial intervention. It was learned that the assaulted mother-in-law Delal A. and Betül E. were taken to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital for treatment. After their treatment at the hospital, Delal A. and Betül E. were taken into custody, and their statements to the police were revealed.

In her statement to the police, Delal A., who was taken into custody, said, "He had come from Batman to Istanbul that day. He came to the front of the house. He knocked on the door and said he wanted to talk. We trusted him and opened the door. About 10 minutes after he started talking to my daughter, a fight broke out between them again. Suddenly, he pulled out his gun and started shooting. I ran to the kitchen and took a knife to stop him. When he tried to shoot my daughter again, we struggled. During this, I swung the knife randomly. If I hadn't intervened, he would have killed all of us."
SUSPECTS SENT TO COURT
Delal A. and her daughter Betül E., who were taken to the Homicide Bureau Office, were sent to court after their statement procedures.
