In Adana, a person named Muhammed K. was caught with 1,675 drug pills hidden between bread. The suspect, who was taken into custody, stated in his testimony that he thought the pills were painkillers. Muhammed K. was sent to the courthouse and was arrested by the court he was brought before.
The suspect caught with drug pills hidden in bread in Adana said in his statement, "I thought the pills were painkillers."
STOPPED ON SUSPICION
Teams from the Adana Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Unit stopped the motorcycle used by Muhammed K. (26), whom they suspected during a street operation targeting drug dealers in the Yeşilbağlar neighborhood of the Yüreğir district.
1675 DRUG PILLS FOUND
A total of 972 drug pills were seized hidden inside the bread found in Muhammed K.'s bag. Following this, narcotic police obtained a search warrant and entered the suspect's home. During the search, 703 drug pills were found under the pillow on the bed. In total, 1675 drug pills belonging to the suspect were discovered.
"I THOUGHT THEY WERE PAINKILLERS"
It was reported that Muhammed K., who was taken into custody, stated, "The pills do not belong to me, I thought they were painkillers, I did not know they were drugs."
