On February 28, the attacks launched by the USA and Israel on Iran turned the region into a bloodbath. While attacks were carried out on many Iranian cities, especially the capital Tehran, Iran also retaliated with counterattacks.

In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.

Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman Hossein Kermanpur announced that 1,045 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
