AK Party Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekçi also made striking statements regarding the cross-border operation during his speech at the AK Party Merkezefendi 4th Ordinary District Congress held in Denizli this evening. Zeybekçi emphasized the responsibility of his statements by saying, "As the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, I am aware of this responsibility."

"THEY WILL MOVE TO ANOTHER DIMENSION"

Zeybekçi stated:

"We are surrounded by a ring of fire. They will continue to escalate and fuel the situation. According to their calculations, the situation in Gaza or Palestine will move to another dimension. It will go to other points. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sees this. To those who say, 'What business do we have in northern Syria?' or 'In northern Iraq?', we will go to the root if necessary. We know the cities that the Ottoman Empire, our ancestors, entrusted to us. We also know where their works are located.

"IF THE HOMELAND IS AT STAKE, WE WILL GO AS FAR AS THE THREAT"

If the homeland at stake is Turkey, and if there is a threat to Turkey, we will go as far as the threat originates. I say this very clearly and explicitly. As the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, I am aware of this responsibility.

"WE WILL NOT WAIT UNTIL THE KNIFE TOUCHES THE BONE"

Let no one be under the illusion that they will wait until the knife touches the bone against Turkey. The moment we see the knife, we will collapse; it is that simple."
