Known for her character Caroline in the TV series "Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki," Wilma Elles has come to the forefront this time with her appearance on the runway. The famous actress and model took part as the lead model at a special fashion show.
TOOK TO THE CATWALK IN A MILLION-DOLLAR DRESS
Elles' special design became one of the most eye-catching pieces of the night. It was stated that the dress, made using approximately 1.5 kilograms of gold, took months to produce and is worth 10 million 500 thousand Turkish Liras.
Elles, who walked the runway in the million-dollar design, stated that she would continue her modeling career, saying, "There is no such thing as age anymore. I feel very good about myself."
TRADITIONAL DETAILS REFLECTED IN DESIGNS
At the fashion show, different designs where handicraft was at the forefront were also exhibited. Outfits featuring illumination (tezhip) details, macrame, crochet work, hand painting, and crystal bead embroidery appeared on the runway.
At the event where a total of 15 designs were introduced, pieces combining traditional handicrafts with modern touches drew attention.
