Uraloğlu stated that the Development Road Corridor will start from the Persian Gulf and reach Ovaköy with a 1200-kilometer railway and road. He noted that a large portion of the corridor in Turkey has already been constructed up to Kapıkule. Uraloğlu announced, "The first phase of FAV Port on the Iraqi side will be operational this year."
