In the Bodrum district of Muğla, in a joint operation conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and police teams, Iranian drug trafficker Kasra Ashrafi, who was wanted by Interpol with a red notice, was taken into custody. Sent to the courthouse, the suspect was arrested.
As a result of intelligence work carried out by MİT, the address where Kasra Ashrafi, wanted on charges of international drug trafficking, was hiding in Bodrum was identified.

In the joint operation carried out by MİT and police units at the identified address, Ashrafi was caught red-handed. During the operation, it was determined that the suspect's wife, Fatima Dhahri, who was with him, also had an entry ban to Turkey due to charges of "manufacturing and selling drugs."
SIX MOBILE PHONES WERE FOUND
During searches at the suspects' residence, materials and jewelry believed to be proceeds of crime were seized. The seizures included: 45,000 Euros, 1 cold cryptocurrency wallet, gold jewelry, 2 luxury watches, and 6 mobile phones.
After the completion of police procedures, Kasra Ashrafi was sent to the courthouse under extensive security measures, and upon being brought before the judge on duty, he was arrested and sent to prison.
