A suspicious object spotted on the shore in the Karasu district of Sakarya put teams on alert. In the examination conducted by security forces and Underwater Defense (SAS) teams dispatched to the area, it was determined that the object was an unmanned marine vehicle and that it did not contain any explosive material. The vehicle was taken into custody to be destroyed upon the order of the prosecutor's office.

Upon citizens reporting a suspicious object on the Denizköy coast in the Karasu district of Sakarya, teams from the Karasu Law Enforcement Support Command arrived at the scene.

UNMANNED MARINE VEHICLE FOUND

As a result of coordination with the Underwater Defense (SAS) group command teams, initial examinations determined that the suspicious object was an Unmanned Marine Vehicle (UMV) and that it did not carry any explosive material.

In line with the instructions of the Karasu Public Prosecutor, the vehicle in question was taken into custody by the Karasu Law Enforcement Support Team Command teams for disposal.
