The Syrian army is expanding its control west of the Euphrates River. A statement from the army indicated that the soldiers have reached Meskene, east of Aleppo, after Deir Hafer. After the Syrian army took the targeted areas, the people took to the streets. Citizens celebrating with joy are dancing in the squares to celebrate their freedom.

SYRIAN ARMY HAS TAKEN THE TARGETED AREAS
In the morning hours, the Syrian army took control of Deir Hafir and the advancing army forces in Meskene quickly established control, moving south along the river and entering the borders of Raqqa province. The Syrian army, which also took control of the town of Dibsi Afnan in Raqqa, is fortifying around the southwestern tip extending to the banks of the Euphrates River in Raqqa.
AA reporters in the region reported that US warplanes were flying in the southwest of Raqqa.

The Syrian army's control of eastern Aleppo in the military operation it launched west of the Euphrates River was celebrated in the streets. With the withdrawal of the terrorist organization YPG/SDG from the region, the Syrian army was enthusiastically welcomed by the citizens in the area.

It was reported that army units were dispatched in the morning hours to enter the village of Humeime in the rural areas of Aleppo, and that the first units entered the areas west of the Euphrates River starting from Deir Hafir.
On the other hand, Ferhat Abdi Şahin, one of the leaders of the terrorist organization YPG/SDG, had announced that the organization's members would withdraw from Deir Hafir and Meskene and cross to the east of the Euphrates River as of 07:00.
