Details in the indictment prepared about the 'newborn gang' that caused the deaths of sick babies by collaborating with some people at 112 Emergency to transfer them to private hospitals they had previously agreed upon are chilling.

INTENSIVE CARE INSUFFICIENT

The report states that a baby named Ayaz K. was born in a state hospital on November 26, 2023, and was initially healthy, but developed heart failure and was transferred to a private hospital. It was noted that the intensive care unit of the private hospital to which the baby was transferred was also insufficient, stating, "Due to the lack of equipment, intubation is delayed for the baby whose general condition and respiratory distress continue to worsen."

DOCTOR WAS NOT AT THE HOSPITAL AT THAT TIME

The report describes that only the suspicious nurse Çağla Durmuş intervened with the baby, stating, "Dr. Dursun Eryılmaz, who should have been at the hospital at that time, was not present. The patient dies in the 24th hour."

THEY DID NOT FEED THE BABY

It was pointed out that the early-born baby named Kaya, mentioned in the report, did not have a neonatal nurse at the hospital the night he died, and only a nurse assistant was present. It was also determined that the death report of baby Havvanur, who passed away four days after her birth, was deliberately written incorrectly. The report stated that Dr. İlker Gönen, who is alleged to be the organization leader, changed the time of death to cover up the incident and wrote the cause of death incorrectly, stating, "It was determined that the baby, who weighed 200 grams at the time of death, entered malnutrition not because of short bowel syndrome, but because he did not receive sufficient energy, protein, and phosphorus support in his nutrition."

PASSIVE EUTHANASIA WAS APPLIED

The report mentioned that baby Kerem's heart stopped while he was in intensive care, and resuscitation was not performed in an appropriate manner and time, stating: "The nurse spoke on the phone with doctor İlker (outside the hospital) who expressed that there was no need for resuscitation and that it would be sufficient to show that resuscitation was performed for 20 minutes in the patient file. He requested the preparation of a fake file. Passive euthanasia was applied to the patient."
