Following a strong smell of illegal drugs coming from a house in Beykoz, the police conducted an operation at the address. In the house, which had been turned into a sort of greenhouse, 181 cannabis plants were seized, and two individuals related to the incident were arrested.
Upon determining that a strong smell of narcotic substances was coming from a residence located in the Dereseki neighborhood of Beykoz, Istanbul, police teams conducted an operation at the address on February 13, with necessary security measures taken around the residence. During the searches conducted inside the address, 181 cannabis plants were seized.
THEY RENTED THE HOUSE
While the teams were astonished by what they saw, it was determined that the address was rented by individuals named K.H. and A.E. The suspects were caught and taken into custody in Küçükyalı, Maltepe, and Rüzgarlıbahçe neighborhoods in Beykoz.
ONE WAS RELEASED, THE OTHER WAS ARRESTED
Regarding the matter, one of the individuals caught and referred to judicial authorities for the crime of "violating the law on the supervision of narcotic substances," K.H., was released under judicial control. The other individual, A.E., was arrested and handed over to the Correctional Institution.
