The term of the Parliamentary Investigation Commission regarding the Grand Kartal Hotel fire at the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort, which claimed the lives of 78 people, has been extended for another month.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the term of the commission established to investigate the fire disaster in Bolu Kartalkaya has been extended for another month.

While the Grand Kartal Hotel fire, in which 78 people lost their lives, continues to be a topic of national agenda; a new step has been taken regarding the Parliamentary Research Commission established to investigate all aspects of the fire disaster.

EXTENDED FOR ANOTHER MONTH

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the commission's working period has been extended for one month until May 13, based on the decision made during the meeting held on April 30.

The following statements were included in the TBMM decision published in the Official Gazette: "The term of the Parliamentary Research Commission established to investigate all aspects of the fire disaster that occurred in a hotel located in Bolu Kartalkaya, to determine the responsibilities of the relevant institutions and organizations, and to identify the measures to be taken to prevent similar incidents, has been extended for one month starting from May 13, 2025, in the 84th Meeting of the General Assembly dated May 7, 2025."
