The terrorist organization's lie about Hakan Fidan has been debunked.

A disinformation campaign conducted by social media accounts promoting the terrorist organization PKK/YPG has been debunked.

DMM HAS INTERVENED

Posts made by these accounts claiming to be statements from Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan were denied by the Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) affiliated with the Presidency's Communication Directorate.

"HE HAS IDENTIFIED TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS BY NAME"

In a statement made by DMM, the following was stated: "The statement shared by the propaganda accounts of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG does not belong to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. In a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized that the terrorist organization PKK/YPG cannot be allowed to take refuge in Syria and stated that he supports the new Syrian administration's efforts to ensure the country's territorial integrity and security. Minister Fidan specifically identified terrorist organizations by name, not civilians of any ethnic origin or belief as claimed. Do not trust the unfounded claims put forward by terrorist organizations to manipulate public opinion."
