The Turkish Football Federation announced that the Super Cup final between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, to be played at Atatürk Olympic Stadium, has been moved to 18:45 due to weather conditions.
The TFF has made a change to the time of the Galatasaray - Fenerbahçe derby, which will be played on Saturday at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in the Turkcell Super Cup final. The TFF announced that the derby has been moved from 20:30 to 18:45 due to adverse weather conditions.
In the TFF's official statement, it was said, "The start time of the Turkcell Super Cup 2025 final, which will be played between Galatasaray A.Ş. and Fenerbahçe A.Ş. on Saturday, January 10 (tomorrow), has been decided to be changed after meteorological assessments and discussions with club officials.
The start time of the match, which was previously scheduled to begin at 20:30 at Atatürk Olympic Stadium, has been moved to 18:45, taking into account the warnings from the Istanbul Governorship regarding rain and strong winds," it was stated.
THE WHISTLE WILL BE BLOWN BY HALIL UMUT MELER IN THE DERBY
The Turkcell Super Cup final to be played between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe on Saturday, January 10, will be officiated by referee Halil Umut Meler. Referee Meler will be assisted by İbrahim Çağlar Uyarcan and Abdullah Bora Özkara. The fourth official of the match will be Ozan Ergün.
