The incident occurred at a place called Bitez Köftecisi in the Bitez neighborhood of the Bodrum district. Two male individuals who came to the place ordered grilled items and meze varieties, salads, fruit, cheese, artichokes, and two bottles of local alcohol. After eating and drinking throughout the night, the two individuals took advantage of the restaurant managers' distraction and left the place.
